TenderWhips

TenderWhips are beautifully made. Extra wide to distribute sudden loading from waves; thicker 316L stainless steel either 3/16” or 1/4 “ (4.7mm or 6.3mm). The beautifully designed whip holder is 316 stainless steel, highly polished, is thru bolted to the 316L stainless steel core with nylon lock nuts (aircraft nuts) to resist loosening or backing off. On the top of the fenderhook is an open base stainless steel cleat placed for securing the mooring whip tensioning line.

enderhooks llc can provide a complete package to accompany the pole holders. (see photo A) This includes the pultruded fiberglass poles in 14’ or 16’ (430mm or 490mm) lengths. This length is cut in half for shipping and storage and provided with a connector that can be either aluminum or machined 316 stainless steel (see photo B). The line is about 50’ of 3/8 “ black braid on braid that has a stainless steel thimble spliced into the end of the line, and a whipped tail. Inserted into the thimble is a large stainless steel carabineer clip that can easily be attached to the lifting eyes on the tender. An easy running block is fitted to a stainless steel end piece that is epoxied to the outboard tip of the fiber pole.

On the pole holders we have modified them by inserting a Delrin bushing sized to the fiberglass pole holder base. We offer two bushing configurations, the exposed (see photo C) and the hidden (see photo D). Both offer close fitting support to the inserted poles

We also offer the Securitie™ on the inboard side of the pole holder, used to secure the coiled tailing of the mooring whip line (see photo E)
